Extended ending to touching sprite bear

(Authors note: the beginning of this writing is the authors last few lines, I wrote it just to make it easier and clearer for reading. This is my first dialog piece so it might be a little rough. I also didn’t know how to punctuate it but it looks like it’s right)

Peter shrugged awkwardly and grinned at Cole. “A circle is all I could teach him to carve.”
Cole smiled and nodded. “I’m a slow learner. But I’m working on it.”

Hours followed as peter showed Cole countless tips about carving. Cole grinned then blurted, “Peter who showed you how to carve?”
Peter chuckled. “Well Cole it’s all in your heart, my family has a long history of carving but if you insist it was my dad”.
Cole stared awkwardly then stood up and silently walked into the cabin. Minutes later Peter walked in, “hey Cole” peter shouted.
As Cole looked up peter said “you should know that you’re a free man, you don’t have to worry about going to prison anymore I forgive you”
Cole grinned and said “thanks, if it wasn’t for you my animosity would be growing with no relief, who knows I could have killed before I realized”
Peter interrupted “Cole it’s enough go to bed we will talk in the morning.

Morning came slowly as Cole left for is daily soak, while Cole was relaxing in the fridge water he heard a twig snap. Cole shouted “who’s there”.
Peter said” you almost forgot me”
Oh you were sleeping and I didn’t want to wake you” Cole exclaimed
Peter chuckled and then dove into the bone chilling water. “I came to give you the good news tomorrow we leave, to start our new life’s said peter

Twisted Themes

(authors note: this is a essay about the theme betrayal in the book Touching Sprite Bear)

Cole Mathews is a 16 year old misfit that won’t take no for an answer. He brutally mauled one of his class mates. He is forced to go to juvenile detention. He didn’t know it, but his life would change in a flash. One may wonder what kind of twisted breath taking themes are in this book.

The theme that caught my eye was betrayal. This is the first theme that appears in the book and unsurprisingly it’s there from the start. On the first few pages, Cole brutally mauled Peter and that right there is the first glimpse of betrayal. Only days later, Cole found that the entire world was trying to betray him. His freedom was revoked and he was forced to live his life in an eight foot by five foot cell in a juvenile detention center.

Another example is after a few months of solitary confinement in his small concrete cell, Cole’s parole officer, Garvey, showed up. Cole was opted into a course called Circle Justice. Given another chance Cole felt he had hope then suddenly he was banished to an island. Betrayal set in as Cole’s familiar rage returned.

Finally, towards the end of the book Cole’s contact with the Circle Justice Program dwindled as visits slowed to a halt. Luckily, Coles rage didn’t set in because if it did Coles last chance would be blown. He would be on an island with no help for months, if he let his anger get the best of him he would die.

In conclusion, betrayal is the major theme in many books, although some can argue I’m saying that Touching Sprite Bear is an amazing book. It is a amazing book not only because of its clear writing topics, but also because its plot just can’t be better.

Touching Sprite Bear Prediction

(Authors note: This is a short prediction for the book “Touching Sprite Bear” there is a summary in the beginning just to inform the person reading this of why the prediction came to be. This is a speech for my L.A class)

Touching sprite bear a book about a kid named Cole, he’s consistently getting in trouble with the cops and going to juvenile prison. The book is in his point of view. The first main thing that happened was, Cole got sent to an Alaskan island, he will be banished there for an entire year. Luckily they did give him an entire years worth of supplies, he burned it to the ground in a raging inferno. Coles elder, Gravery warned him about sprite bears, they are black bears but mysterious as fog, once they have you in their grasp your good as dead. Sadly the first Idea that popped in Coles mind was, I’m going to kill that bear and eat an extraordinary dinner.

Based on what has happening so far I’m thinking that Cole will learn his lesson real quick, he is going to attempt a 1on 1 with a black bear, if he doesn’t Cole will die and the main character cant die 1/3 of the way into a book. Although even if Cole dies nobody would be there to find his body so his mom and dad wouldn’t find out for up to a year, although they hate him and wouldn’t care if his guts where spilled they would be typically happy either.

Another book that was completely different but shared the same plot was Daemon Hall. In this book the main character went to a haunted mansion and was in contact with the Daemon himself, if he wouldn’t have learned his lesson he would be the daemons dinner.
